NOT ALL CHANGE IS GOOD. The economy, our health, our country, relationships… However, change is in God’s plan ! Most often He uses the word “transform” in the Scriptures to describe a process:
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
1 Corinthians 15:51,52 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
WHAT DO THESE SCRIPTURES TELL US?
That transformation is God’s work!
That transformation changes the mind!
That transformation is the goal!
So, here’s the question, are you just a victim of change…or, are you being transformed to bring God’s change to our world?
